A Bit About Us
Pawfect Life Rescue is a family friendly rescue for our community!
Pawfect Life Rescue is a Massachusetts-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue dedicated to saving stray, abandoned, and unwanted dogs and placing them into safe, loving, and responsible homes. We are a compassionate network of volunteers, fosters, and supporters who believe every dog deserves a second chance and a family to call their own.
As a family-friendly rescue, we are also committed to educating the community on the importance of responsible pet ownership, proper veterinary care, and lifelong commitment to companion animals. We define success not only by the lives we save, but by the positive impact we make on every person and pet we encounter.
At Pawfect Life Rescue, we rescue dogs locally as well as from rural southern communities and high-kill shelters where resources and opportunities are limited. Every dog in our care receives comprehensive veterinary treatment, safe transport, and proper quarantine/isolation protocols prior to adoption.
We take great care in matching each dog with the right home. Our adoption process includes a detailed application review, email and/or phone correspondence, veterinary and personal reference checks, and an in-person meet-and-greet. Home visits may also be conducted when deemed necessary. As a fit-based rescue, our goal is to create successful, lasting matches that benefit both the dog and the adopting family. Approved adopters complete an adoption contract and provide an adoption donation, which directly supports the medical care, transport, food, shelter, and ongoing rescue efforts for the dogs in our program.
Every donation received goes back into the rescue to help save more lives.
In the event that Pawfect Life Rescue, Inc. dissolves or disbands, the organization will be dissolved in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 180, Section 11A.
