Important Information on Adoption Process

We are a small, volunteer-run, fit-based rescue. Our goal isn’t just to place dogs quickly—it’s to place them right. You are absolutely welcome (and encouraged!) to apply for a pup who has caught your eye, but we also ask that you trust our matchmaking process. With years of experience, we’ve found that some of the very best matches happen when we suggest a dog you may not have initially considered.

We place our dogs in homes where they will be welcomed as loving, lifelong family companions. While we do our best to learn about each dog in our care, we cannot guarantee behavior, temperament, or training outcomes. Additionally, our dogs are not placed as emotional support or service animals.

Because we are a volunteer-based organization, our application review process may take some time. Please know we are working hard behind the scenes, and your patience truly means so much to us. The best way to help us move efficiently is by completing your application thoroughly and providing all requested information.

I certify that any dogs, cats, and/or ferrets I own or have previously owned have received verifiable veterinary care. Pawfect Life will verify that such care aligns with AMVA guidelines and all applicable state laws before processing my application.

I understand that Pawfect Life Rescue is a fit-based rescue and that adoption decisions are made based on the best match for both the dog and the Adopter. Submitting an application does not guarantee placement with the specific dog applied for.
